Guarding Expert is a free Android-based software app which allows remote monitoring of live camera feeds.

The Guarding Expert app can be used for remote viewing of live video feeds captured by network cameras as well as embedded NVR and DVR cameras. The app can also monitor the network speed encoder by using the wireless network. You can use the app to play recorded files on remotely viewed software as well as manage local storage of videos and pictures. You can also control your alarm output and gain control over pan-tilt-zoom security cameras.

This software differs from similar remote viewing software in that it's optimized for a wide range of security devices rather than only working with security devices that the developer has created. The app works through the direct establishment of a network connection using WiFi or 3G connectivity.

You can log into a front-end device by using your network connection. If no public IP is available for the device, you can access it through the use of a dynamic domain name. You can also map ports to the router's public IP to gain access.

Using this mobile app may affect your network traffic charges. Also, the phone or tablet must be able to support WiFi and 3G service.
